Women Vivienne Westwood Blazers and Jackets.

Vivienne Westwood's career, "Queen Viv", begins in Portobello Road, 1960s. It is there that the young fashion designer sells handmade jewelry, starting to cultivate a passion, that for fashion, which will culminate in 1971 with the opening of a shop at 430 King's Road: "Let it Rock". Founded together with the then husband, the manager of the Sex Pistols Malcolm McLaren, the store became a meeting place for punk, skinheads and rock stars. Eclectic, extravagant, revolutionary: the leaders of Westwood welcomed and told that desire for rebellion and subversion of alternative cultures. But it is at the end of the 70s that the designer decided to change direction: after careful studies on the history of the costume of the 17th and 18th century, in the Westwood collections appeared corsets, Scottish fabrics, drapery, in the name of a style more romantic but always irreverent. Characteristics, the latter, that still distinguish every Westwood collection, designed for adventurous, unique and nonconformist women.
